3.2 Maritime English for ship's navigators

1. Communicate clearly and understandably in English with other ships, shore stations, traffic services, the ship’s crew, and other persons involved in ship operations while performing the duties of a ship officer on board:<br>2. Observe the principles of business communication in English, both in writing and orally.<br>3. Communicate clearly and understandably in English on matters of navigational safety and in emergency situations on board the ship.<br>4. Use manuals, navigational and other publications, as well as ship logs required for performing work duties, in English.

Observe ship work organization and ship procedures, as well as the principles of teamwork and effective communication.
